Whether it is an action packed get away you are planning or a peaceful and tranquil visit to the beautiful scenery of North Wales, there is a vast selection of activities to enjoy. From the hotel you can cycle the length of the valley or take the car and enjoy the many attractions, play golf, ride horses, go quad biking. We have listed a few with direct links to their site. Pandy Mill Glass Studio

Jan Singleton is a glass artist and designer in partnership with her husband Richard. She owns and runs Pandy Mill Glass Studio and Gallery where she makes glass panels for walls, doors and windows, fused glass plates and bowls for both display and use, and larger scale architectural pieces that form an integral part of a building or garden.

 

The Welsh Border Vintage Club

The Welsh Border Vintage Club has a range of activities planned, whether you are a visitor to North Wales or a resident. The Club caters for all types of vintage enthusiast – those owning or interested in cars, tractors, stationary engines, motor cycles, farm implements and machinery, household items etc – in fact the list is endless. The Club holds most of its meetings here at the Golden Pheasant Hotel. There is at least one gathering or event held each month and there are outings and visits to places of interest during the summer months.

 

The Glyn Valley Tramway Trust

Part of the historic Glyn Valley Tramway - dubbed the 'Little bit of Heaven Railway' is set to be restored by volunteers from the Glyn Valley Tramway Trust who want to recreate the tramway as it would have been in its heyday.

Chirk 'the Gateway to Wales' is a pretty little town situated on the edge of the County of Wrexham, and at the start of the beautiful Ceiriog Valley. Now the focus of the Trust's endeavours to recreate the tramway, Chirk is set to see steam trains running once again through its picturesque scenery.. Come and take a look.
